ABOUT MEG
Meg is the founder of My Beauty Covered and is a self-confessed lover of all things beauty.
Her career has focused on all realms of beauty having worked in the hair, makeup, spa and wedding industries for 30+ years. Meg’s passion and work has taken her across the globe working on cruise ships, living in the Caribbean and UK, and now she resides in her home country of Australia with her daughter, Mia.
At heart, Meg is a creative entrepreneur who believes in celebrating beauty in all of its forms.

ETHICAL MANUFACTURING
Sourcing an ethical manufacturer that also provides the highest level of quality products was at the forefront when forming the My Beauty Covered brand.
We have teamed with a wonderful manufacturer in Vietnam whose ethos is to create a social enterprise that partners business with community development.
This partnership supports Vietnamese women at risk who have been displaced from their communities. In some cases, these women have either been victims of domestic violence or shamed for choosing to have babies outside of a culturally acceptable relationship. Many of the women have raised children and therefore have not had an opportunity to pursue careers or further education. They have had no social welfare, community, or family to fall back on.
The program offers these women an opportunity to regain confidence and maintain independent lives. Lives that are surrounded by a new formed community with mutual goals. These women receive full time paid employment and have the opportunity to gain a new skill in the textile industry.
